On the 18th, Plankton, the glorious new mayor that he is, decides that his first decree as mayor is to host a Plankton Festival! A festival dedicated to serving him in what is clearly a great idea for the very first thing you do as a mayor.

However, while Plankton is setting it up, The Dreamfinder finally finishes building the Imageworks Pavilion in Epcot, and sets up an opening week celebration to ring in the new pavilion. And, even to those who were optimistic about Plankton, it’s hard to deny that it blows Plankton’s so-called “festival” out of the water.

So have fun at two separate festivals while you feel the tension build up between the two of them! But be warned, something bad may be on the horizon with these festivals. Those cards you’ve been getting may come in handy soon enough!
