Event Announcements + SOTG
Starting on Monday the 10th, EPCOT will begin one of it’s most time-honored traditions: the food and wine festival! During this time, characters will be free to salivate over and taste foods from other parts of the world - both this one and many others. In addition, alcohols will be available as well. If your idea of a good time is getting drunk and riding a Frozen-themed dark ride? Well, you’re going to have a good time with this.
...of course, there are weird portals appearing and disappearing now and then. In fact, a lot of the booths this year are new - and some of them might just be a little familiar to you. It seems like something’s on the horizon.
...we, the mod team, would also like to announce the last event, which will begin on October 1st. This will lead to a game close early in November.
We’ll be filling you in with more details on that event as we reach the end of this month. However, it should be noted that all Progress City characters and players, past and present, will be able to participate in this event. If your character was dropped in the past, you’re welcome to bring them back if you’d like. Due to this, AC for the month of August will also be waived as well.
This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, however, we hope to bring the game to a satisfying conclusion with a really fun event! If you guys have any questions, please feel free to let us know.
