EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Mayoral Elections

April 23th - May 7th
 

Hello, everyone, and welcome to Progress City's first event! It was originally supposed to be a little lighthearted flower and garden festival, but then Mayor Rod had to go and malfunction mid-town hall. Nice job, Mayor Rod.

To put it plainly, we'll be putting up a town hall log on April 22nd where Rod's animatronic will malfunction. Bill will step in and question Rod's leadership, and propose an election to replace him - after all, who elected him in the first place? Rod will begrudgingly agree because while he doesn't know if he trusts any of you people - he also doesn't want a dictatorship.

You'll find more relevant information as we get close to this, but citizens of Progress City are absolutely allowed to run, and voting is open to all! To ensure you're on the ballot, please comment to the appropriate top-level below by April 22nd at 11:59 PM (EST). If you have any questions, we'll also be happy to answer them below!

tbh bagheera probably wouldnt intentionally enter the running for this especially since he doesnt understand anything about human politics

so im just gonna run off the idea that one of yall anonymously put this cat on the ballot without his knowledge
